GDPR focuses on the personal data of individuals, specifically individuals residing in any EU member state. It updates existing \u2013 and introduces new \u2013 regulations relating to the collection and processing of the personal data of any individual residing in any EU member state. And it doesn\u2019t only apply to businesses and organizations with a physical presence in any EU member state. Businesses and organizations throughout the world will need to be compliant with the GDPR if they collect and process the personal data of any individuals residing in the EU.<\/p>\n<p>Check out our blog post <a href=\"https:\/\/www.predictiveresponse.com\/gdpr-what-you-need-to-know\/\">GDPR \u2013 What You Need to Know<\/a> for an introduction to the new GDPR regulations.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>How does Predictive Response enable our customers to be GDPR compliant?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Predictive Response will launch features to help our clients comply with the GDPR regulations by May 25, 2018. The feature additions support the key GDPR requirements of consent and data subject rights.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Consent<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With the new GDPR regulations, companies need to ensure that they have explicit consent from EU individuals to market to them. The compliant method for obtaining consent is by use of a double opt-in.
