There are four types of syncs:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2903\" src=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/bluebox.gif\" alt=\"bluebox\" width=\"12\" height=\"12\" \/>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/?page_id=321#initial\">Initial Synchronization<\/a><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2903\" src=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/bluebox.gif\" alt=\"bluebox\" width=\"12\" height=\"12\" \/>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/?page_id=321#manual\">Manual Synchronization<\/a><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2903\" src=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/bluebox.gif\" alt=\"bluebox\" width=\"12\" height=\"12\" \/>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/?page_id=321#nightly\">Nightly Batch Updates<\/a><\/p>\n<p>As your campaign progresses, member status changes, email edition and campaign statistics will be updated from Predictive to Salesforce. If you manually make a change to a status in Salesforce, that information will be updated into Predictive the next time a sync occurs.<\/p>\n<p>For example, if you delete a campaign member in Salesforce, that member will also be deleted from Predictive when the next sync occurs. If the email address for a campaign member is changed in Salesforce, that information will be changed for a campaign when the next sync occurs.<\/p>\n<h2>Initial Synchronization<\/h2>\n<p>This occurs when you start a campaign in Salesforce and click the New Edition button in the Email Editions related list.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3575\" src=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/New-Email-Edition1.png\" alt=\"New Email Edition1\" width=\"1581\" height=\"98\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The button will add one or more email editions (depending on campaign type) and any members that have been added to the campaign. This will include anyone marked as a global test member.<\/p>\n<p>The initial sync includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Campaign Name and Type<\/li>\n<li>Start Date<\/li>\n<li>End Date<\/li>\n<li>Global test members<\/li>\n<li>Campaign members if added in Salesforce<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Icons\/info1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-634\" src=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Icons\/info1.png\" alt=\"info1\" width=\"25\" height=\"25\" \/><\/a> <strong>Reference<\/strong>: <a title=\"Predictive AM Button\" href=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/?page_id=1271\">For more details on what information displays in Predictive, click here.<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Manual Synchronization<\/h2>\n<p>After the campaign has started you can click the Synchronize button available at the top of the campaign page and in the Campaign Members section\u00a0to update the following in Predictive:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Members that have been added or deleted<\/li>\n<li>Changes such as member name or email address<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Nightly Batch Updates<\/h2>\n<p>This sync\u00a0runs at 1 am UTC\u00a0if the auto-sync box is checked for the campaign.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2848\" src=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/campaignpage.gif\" alt=\"campaignpage\" width=\"1399\" height=\"303\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Important.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2489\" src=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Important.png\" alt=\"Important\" width=\"25\" height=\"25\" \/><\/a> <strong>Important<\/strong>: The sync process uses API calls every time it is run.
