{"id":1843,"date":"2014-08-25T16:33:30","date_gmt":"2014-08-25T16:33:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/139.59.23.56\/predictive3\/?page_id=1843"},"modified":"2019-01-23T12:51:08","modified_gmt":"2019-01-23T12:51:08","slug":"campaignflow-and-instantsend-upgrade-guide","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/?page_id=1843","title":{"rendered":"Upgrade Guide: CampaignFlow"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><a id=\"top\"><\/a><a href=\"#overview\">Overview<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#CFL\">Install CampaignFlow<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#ISX\">Install InstantSend<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#trigger\">Trigger Action Field<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#active\">Active CampaignFlows<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#help\">We can help!<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1><a id=\"overview\"><\/a>Overview<\/h1>\n<p>The CampaignFlow (CFL) application has been upgraded to allow you to setup rules that will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Utilize date fields and Salesforce date literals to trigger the addition of leads and\/or contacts to a campaign.<\/li>\n<li>Trigger flows based on formula and date fields using the Schedule option.<\/li>\n<li>Populate your campaign using the new Run Now feature.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1><a id=\"CFL\"><\/a>Install Campaign Flow<\/h1>\n<p>To start the install process:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use the provided link<\/li>\n<li>Click Continue<\/li>\n<li>Click Next<\/li>\n<li>Verify desired security access and click Next<\/li>\n<li>On the next screen, select Grant access to admins only, and click Next<\/li>\n<li>On the final screen, click Install.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2489\" src=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Important.png\" alt=\"Important\" width=\"25\" height=\"25\" \/>\u00a0<strong>Important<\/strong>: It is best to grant access to your system admin(s) first and then modify the profiles that are assigned to the users that will be using the application.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" href=\"#top\">Back to Top<\/a><\/p>\n<h1><a id=\"ISX\"><\/a>Install InstantSend<\/h1>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2489\" src=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Important.png\" alt=\"Important\" width=\"25\" height=\"25\" \/>\u00a0<strong>Stop<\/strong>: If you are not using Campaign Flow with the Adaptive Mailer, skip this step.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use the provided link<\/li>\n<li>Log into Salesforce (if prompted)<\/li>\n<li>Enter the password provided in the email and click Submit<\/li>\n<li>Click Continue<\/li>\n<li>On the popup window \u2013 Approve Third-Part Access, click Yes\u2026 and Continue<\/li>\n<li>Click Next<\/li>\n<li>On the next screen, select Grant access to all users, and click Next<\/li>\n<li>Click Install<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" href=\"#top\">Back to Top<\/a><\/p>\n<h1><a id=\"trigger\"><\/a>Trigger Action Field<\/h1>\n<p>This field is required when using CFL with the Adaptive Mailer. The value has to be added to the picklist field.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Go to Setup<\/li>\n<li>Locate and expand Create<\/li>\n<li>Select Objects<\/li>\n<li>Click on the Campaign Flow Label<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/objects.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1834\" src=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/objects.gif\" alt=\"objects\" width=\"266\" height=\"280\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Scroll down to the Custom Fields &amp; Relationships section and locate the Trigger Action field<\/li>\n<li>Click on Trigger Action and then New in the Picklist Values section<\/li>\n<li>Add InstantSend for\u00a0Predictive<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" href=\"#top\">Back to Top<\/a><\/p>\n<h1><strong><a id=\"active\"><\/a>Active CampaignFlows<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>Because we have moved from an InstantSend check box to a picklist value, all active flows have to be modified so that they continue working as planned.
