We provide the ability to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"#self\">Send a test email to yourself<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#group\">Send a test email to a test group<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#what\">What should a test member do?<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#insight\">Run an Insight Test<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#ab\">Run an A\/B Test<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2489 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Important.png\" alt=\"Important\" width=\"25\" height=\"25\" \/> <strong>Important<\/strong>: Predictive AM requires that you send a test email to at least one test member.<\/p>\n<h2><a id=\"self\"><\/a>Send a test email to yourself<\/h2>\n<p>As indicated above, sending a test email to yourself or your test group is a required step in the edition creation process. You can send as many test emails as needed before sending the email to your campaign members.<\/p>\n<p>From the eMaker editor, click the test email button (step 3) and select the &#8216;Send Test to Me&#8217; option. The default email address displayed will be for the logged in user. Change as needed.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7640\" src=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/38.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"781\" height=\"373\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2489\" src=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Important.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"25\" height=\"25\" \/>\u00a0 Using the &#8216;test to me&#8217; test option will test the visual appearance of the email, and not the functionality of merge fields and link tracking.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2488\" src=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Information.gif\" alt=\"Information\" width=\"25\" height=\"25\" \/>\u00a0<strong>Information<\/strong>: If the email address used is also associated to a campaign member, Predictive will not re-send the email when your campaign starts sending.<\/p>\n<h2><a id=\"group\"><\/a>Send a test email to a test group<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-634 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Icons\/info1.png\" alt=\"info1\" width=\"25\" height=\"25\" \/> <strong>Reference<\/strong>: <a title=\"Test Members\" href=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/?page_id=3273\">Click here for information on creating global or campaign only test members.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>From the eMaker editor, click the test email button (step 3) and select the &#8216;Send Test to Group&#8217; option. The default test group PAM on their contact or lead record will be pre-selected.<\/p>\n<p>All members marked as test members in the campaign are sent the email edition.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-7642\" src=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/39.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"781\" height=\"350\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2488\" src=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Information.gif\" alt=\"Information\" width=\"25\" height=\"25\" \/>\u00a0Using the &#8216;test to group&#8217; test option will test the visual appearance of the email, as well as the functionality of merge fields and link tracking.<\/p>\n<h2><a id=\"what\"><\/a>What should a test member do?<\/h2>\n<p>We have made the test process required because we know that it is important to you that your campaign emails give the correct message and provide the right impression about your organization. Therefore your test members should:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review the content: They should ensure that the message is correct and that there are no errors in grammar, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Click the links: If you have added links to your content, all links should be clicked to not only confirm they open to the right page and that the clicks are tracked.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2489 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Important.png\" alt=\"Important\" width=\"25\" height=\"25\" \/> <strong>Important<\/strong>: The Predictive tracking codes have to be added to your web site and the links, when added to your email content, have to be setup correctly.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-634 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Icons\/info1.png\" alt=\"info1\" width=\"25\" height=\"25\" \/> <strong>Reference<\/strong>: <a title=\"Tracking Script\" href=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/?page_id=62\">Click here for information on the Predictive tracking script.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-634 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Icons\/info1.png\" alt=\"info1\" width=\"25\" height=\"25\" \/> <strong>Reference<\/strong>: <a title=\"Email Editor\" href=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/?page_id=455\">Click here for information on setting up links in your email.<\/a><\/p>\n<h1><a id=\"insight\"><\/a>Run an Insight Test<\/h1>\n<p>Insight tests have two parts &#8211; one component allows you to see what your email content will look like in over 30 different email inboxes. The second component runs your email content through over 50 spam filter and lets you know if there is a chance of your email going directly to a spam folder. If the content does not pass the test, the application provides you with the information you need to lessen the possibility of sending a spam message.<\/p>\n<p>To start an Insight test, once in the email editor, follow these instructions:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-7643\" src=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/41.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"781\" height=\"346\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As the popup message indicates, the test may take a few minutes as the application collects the screen shots and spam filter results from the different email clients and spam filters.<\/p>\n<p>Here you can see thumbnail versions of your content. Click on a thumbnail to enlarge the view.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2594 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/insight11.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"948\" height=\"738\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Click\u00a0the Spam Analysis button to see if your content has passed or failed for each filter listed.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2595 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/insight21.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"891\" height=\"794\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Click <strong>show details<\/strong> to view the information you need to correct your content &#8211; if desired.<\/p>\n<p>Insight is a Predictive add-on application. Access to Insight is dependent on the Predictive package purchased by your organization. If you see a message indicating no tests available, contact our Support team. <a title=\"Support Ticket\" href=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/?page_id=1050\">Click here to complete a support ticket.<\/a><\/p>\n<h1><a id=\"ab\"><\/a>Run an A\/B Test<\/h1>\n<p>Using our A\/B Test feature can increase your open rate by approximately 20%. The A\/B Test lets you test different subject lines on small portions of your campaign members. Create your subject lines and let Predictive do the rest.<\/p>\n<p>To start an A\/B Test, click <strong>step #3 &#8220;Test Email&#8221;<\/strong> in eMaker, then select the A\/B tab.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5825 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/AB-Test-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"704\" height=\"514\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><a id=\"auto\"><\/a>Automatic Test<\/h2>\n<p>Select automatic test and enter:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two subject lines<\/li>\n<li>Sample size &#8211; we recommend using a sample size of at least 50 members<\/li>\n<li>Confirm that the Automatic decision is selected and number of hours until the decision is made<\/li>\n<li>Enter the number of hours you want Predictive to wait until determining the winning subject<\/li>\n<li>Click the start icon<\/li>\n<li>Predictive will wait the time designated, select the winning subject line and restart the send process to the rest of your campaign members<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2488\" src=\"https:\/\/help.predictiveresponse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Information.gif\" alt=\"Information\" width=\"25\" height=\"25\" \/>\u00a0<strong>Information<\/strong>:\u00a0\u00a0Every edition in a campaign is assigned a unique identifier.
